Professional Paralegal Associations
Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association — Utah Chapter
The Utah Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Paralegal Association was established in an effort to better serve the paralegal profession within the State of Utah. RMPA based in Denver, was formed on October 2, 1973, to serve the paralegal profession in the Rocky Mountain region. RMPA is an affiliate member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.
The Legal Assistants Association of Utah
The Legal Assistants Association of Utah (LAAU) is Utah’s affiliate to the National Association of Legal Assistants. LAAU is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing further education, establishing standards of professional and ethical conduct, and aiding in the advancement of employment opportunities for legal assistants and paralegals in the state of Utah. Student memberships are available for those who are studying to become legal assistants or paralegals.
